chemical dominoes
Overview
Trough multiple steps we made a LED light up. Our steps included baking soda mixing with vinegar. The balloon then blew up and knocked over a flask which made elephant toothpaste. Our next step was we had two rulers that pushed against each other to to knock over copper chloride to light up the LED.

Project
Chemicals list
1. Dish Soap
2. Copper Chloride
3. Vinegar (acetic acids)
4. Baking Soda (sodium bicarbonate)
5. potassium iodide
6. hydrogen peroxide
Reflection
Overall, my group consisted Joe Malliaras, Jack Duffin, and Jason Franks. Although we are good friends we worked very well together. My favorite part of this project was designing a working model and seeing it run completely. It is always good to see your final project to come together and work. A couple pit falls we had were at the very end. In the video you can can see one of them. That being the flask falling and breaking. The other one was our LED took a little bit to light up. One thing we found a challenge was having the balloon go up by itself, but we had to settle with Jack tipping it up. I had a lot of fun doing this project and learn so much about chemical reactions.
